Wing Point
Wing Point Neighborhood Overview
Wing Point is one of Bainbridge Island’s most prestigious and scenic neighborhoods. Situated on the eastern shore, this serene peninsula offers panoramic views of Puget Sound, the Seattle skyline, and even the Cascade Mountains. The name “Wing Point” is inspired by the majestic bald eagles that once nested nearby in Eagle Harbor.
This is a well-established, elegant community made up of stately homes — some facing the water, others lining the fairways of the Wing Point Golf & Country Club. Architectural styles range from Colonial and Craftsman to Cape Cod, and a number of homes were built in the 1970s through the 1990s.
Despite its secluded feel, Wing Point is very well-connected: it’s near Winslow, the ferry terminal, and key island roads. The neighborhood enjoys a quiet, low-traffic character — a perfect balance of peaceful retreat and functional convenience.
At the heart of the community is the Wing Point Golf & Country Club, a private institution established in 1903. This club isn’t just about golf — members can also enjoy tennis courts, a swimming pool, social events, and fine dining.
Over the years, the neighborhood has improved its infrastructure: a non-motorized pathway project was completed on Wing Point Way to improve pedestrian and cyclist access. Meanwhile, the community’s natural charm is preserved through mature trees, forested lots, and quiet shoreline access.
